Arrived before 13:00 on Sunday, there was one person in line. I was prepared to wait for a while, but I was able to be seated in no time. We were lucky because the next customer was closing the shop. I had Hishiya Ramen + 3 pieces of char siu, but the char siu was very soft and delicious, so I should have made Hishiya char siu ramen. I heard that char siu is sold to take home, but it seems that it is not sold. disappointing. I wanted to know about the Takeoka style, which is a feature of this restaurant, but the delicate owner was working hard in the hot kitchen with a cool face, so I asked him if it was hot and completely forgot about the main topic. It's gone. There are many interesting things such as photographs and objects in the store, and many of them are displayed at the convenience store. I also got fried food and rice balls from the convenience store, but they were delicious. It's a little far from my home, but it's become one of the places I want to visit again when driving or touring with a small group.

I ordered Shoiya Ramen + 3 slices of chashu + garlic butter. The char siu is creamy and delicious when slurped together with the noodles. I like the garlic butter because it has a strong flavor that goes well with the rice, but I could have done without it. I was the third group to arrive at around 9:30 during Golden Week, and there were about 30 people in line by the time the store opened. It's a very hot place in the summer (so much so that it records the highest temperature in Japan that day), so it can be tough to stand in line under the scorching sun.

I went there for an hour just looking for ramen, but when I arrived (around 11:30) there were so many people in line that I gave up trying. I would definitely like to eat in line next time. Another thing I really enjoyed was the various military models and plastic model exhibits inside the convenience store. I think it's the owner's hobby, but it creates a unique atmosphere that's amazing for a non-chain restaurant in such a rural area. I would like to go and see it again. The side dish corner was also well-stocked, but I didn't intend to use it, so I won't comment on the taste or anything. The parking lot was large, but it was full of people who wanted to see the sightseeing spots, including motorbikes.
