When I looked at Google Maps here and saw the ``pheasant grilled bento'', I was intrigued, so I went there on a Sunday around 12:10pm. There were no previous customers and we were guided to the tatami room. My companion ordered super dry and fried chicken. I ordered the "pheasant grilled bento" that I was looking for. The shop was run by two women. The appetizer came with ``kakiage tempura''. The fried chicken was Tatsuta-age and coated with potato starch, it was crispy and delicious. Although it's a pheasant grill, I was told that it doesn't actually use pheasant meat, but local chicken. It felt like a delicious yakitori bowl, and the sweet sauce, chicken, and seaweed were a perfect match, and the rice was just the right firmness. It came with miso soup and pickles, and a complimentary iced coffee at the end. Thank you for your delicious meal. I'll ask you again, okay? 😋
I used to have lunch at this store at a district gathering and it was really good, so I went to the store. The bento I ate before was called kijiyaki bento, so I ordered it and it was delicious. Although it is called pheasant, it is said that it uses free-range chicken instead of chicken pheasant. The people at the shop were also friendly, talking to me about various things and answering my questions. They also gave me an iced coffee at the end of the meal. The price was reasonable, so I wanted to try other menu items.
