Tasty mochi! 6 skewers for 780 yen. Old lady was very nice. Brought tea and iced water and told me to drink more since it's so hot outside. 😅

(2023/09 noon visit) I ordered the following. ・Gohei mochi [780 yen] It is fragrantly grilled with a sweet miso sauce. It's not boring and you can eat it without getting bored. Is delicious. The pickled cucumbers are also delicious with just the right amount of salt. The tea is also delicious. It's interesting how the same Gohei mochi tastes different depending on the location.

It is one street across from Route 19 and near Nagiso Station. I stopped by on my way back from climbing Mt. Itose. The menu is only 780 yen for 6 pieces of Gohei mochi per person. There are only two tables. It was baked right away. The rice dumplings were very delicious with Shinshu's unique sauce. In addition, she gave me pickles and invited me to tea, and I was able to talk about various things with her, which made me very satisfied. It was a restaurant I would definitely like to stop by on my way back from mountain climbing or skiing.
