Omachi, Nagano, Japan｜手打ちそば処 高瀬川

A very delicious soba specialty shop along the Omachi Takase River. The scenery is beautiful and you can enjoy the Alps while eating. I must order the tempura soba every time, and the special pudding is highly recommended!

Amazing service and food. Especially after a vacation day, this is the comfort food to recharge. Ordered a large portion soba noodles and it is absolutely huge. Environment very chill, relaxing and local. Recharged immediately afterwards.

I use it when the timing is right at the end of Omachi mountain climbing. Previously, I had the Takasegawa Gozen soba noodles, but this time I ordered the katsudon (950 yen). I felt full and satisfied. If you come in May, you will see carp streamers floating in the sky in front of the store, which is very atmospheric. Also, you can see Mt. Renge from the terrace, which I really like.
