Iida, Nagano, Japan｜Shimizu

This tonkatsu restaurant is recommended when you want a little luxury. The meat is really soft. You can get unlimited refills of rice and cabbage, so it's perfect for those who eat a lot. The staff are all kind and helpful, and I take good care of them every time I visit Iida.

The price setting is a little high, but the amount is enough and the frying method is not bad. Also, rice and cabbage can be refilled, and coffee is free, which is nice! Regarding the taste of tonkatsu, it is the best in Shimoina. I think it tastes better than Wako-san and Saboten-san. This is my personal opinion, but please aim for a tonkatsu that is more flavorful and impressive than Suiryu in Samukawa, Kanagawa Prefecture.

When the change was handed to me at checkout, they lined up the coins by denomination on the tray so that it would be easy to see. I am deeply moved by the unconcerned thoughtfulness. It is good that coffee is attached to the dish by self-service.
