More Comments at Google MapI was able to eat in a calm atmosphere. I ordered fried eggplant and tempura soba, both of which were very filling and delicious. There were so many types of tempura, I think there were more than 10 types.
I decided to have some soba noodles for lunch, so I looked for a restaurant near Matsumoto before entering Kiso. During the day, we drove around the R19, which is constantly congested, and arrived in about 20 minutes from Matsumoto Station. There's plenty of parking, and the store has a nice, Japanese-style feel. I ordered grated soba and the daily mini bowl. The grated soba came with some sort of translucent juice in a mortar. When I asked about it, I was told that it was grated radish soup. Add Tsuyu to this and eat. I'm impressed by their dedication to using up all the vegetables. The mini rice bowls also feature vegetables such as eggplant, shishito peppers, and onions, and I think it's rare to find a soba restaurant that can serve so many vegetables. The soba noodles are of course hand-made, and the soba noodles are cut into small pieces, which is my favorite method, giving them a nice texture. And it's cheap! I've been to Matsumoto many times, so I thought I knew a lot about it, but I realized that I still have a lot of experience.
When I entered the store, they served me pickles and tea. Not only the soba noodles but also the pickles were delicious. Since the portion was large, even men seemed to be able to enjoy it. It's a bit disappointing that the proprietress is not very friendly, but the shop is clean and has a great atmosphere, so I highly recommend it.
