Don't be fooled by the exterior! It looks a bit dingy from the outside and I was scared to go in. But the staff was so warm and friendly, I'm a foreigner and they kindly explained how to eat the warm tofu. (It was delicious, highly recommend!) And the Miso Katsudon was one of the best Katsudon I ever had. It had a salad, soup and vegetables with it too. Most main dishes are around 800 yen, really good value! Many people go here to drink with friends so it is a bit loud. But I didn't mind, everyone seemed nice.

The typical teishoku place that hosts all kind of people and didn’t dissapoint. Tried for the first time a “miso katsudon” that was on point. The service was also nice and, you guessed it, not expensive.

From other people's comments, I felt a homely atmosphere, so I asked. There is a blackboard of daily lunch at the entrance There are also chairs for children, so I'm sure it's a family-friendly shop Looking at the menu, there is a daily lunch even though it is Sunday, and other set menus are reasonably priced at less than 1000 yen! I was worried about the tonkatsu set meal for 850 yen, but decided on the mackerel boiled in miso set meal for 830 yen. Cooking on the spot instead of precooking Soft, fluffy meat with a gentle miso sauce The rice tasted good and was delicious. The employees helped my child who tried to escape when paying, which was very helpful. I would like to visit again with my family.
