Fujimi, Nagano, Japan｜Cafe, Bar & Grill Zousan

I've passed in front of this business a few times, and finally I decided to give it a try. I regretted. Regretted not coming here earlier. IT IS SO GOOD! I even forgot to take photos of the main dishes. It tasted as good as it looked. Not pricey, clean, outstanding customer service, wide parking, big space, children's play room, deck seats with lots of greenery. I did not order the pizza because I get disappointed most of the times here in Japan. When I saw the pizza the lady next to me was eating, I was surprised how delicious it looked( the pizza, not the lady). Before I left, I couldn't stop myself from ordering not one, but two slices of cheese cake and a massive cappuccino. Once again, it was fabulous. Strongly recommended for hungry people, people with children, who loves sweets and coffe and so on. That's it, I'm coming back. Wc

We were in the area for an MTB race, so the whole family went for dinner. Very well planned layout, family oriented in a sophisticated way. A dedicated Kids Area is a nice touch, with toys, books and DVD's. Music was eclectic jazz, good background to some delicious dinner. Kids meal was cheap and plenty of volume. Although limited in selection, the two torts we had (Apricot/Rhubarb, Shinshu Cheese Cake) were unique and delicious when eaten with the well made Cafe Latte. Great service, great ambiance, and a great Happy Wall provided for the kids to doodle on. A surprising find in the countryside!

Beautiful little restaurant - comfortable wood/leather cushion, high-back chairs around round table. Salad bar/drink set - fresh vegies, dressings and chicken slices tonight. Avocado/salmon pasta cream sauce and bacon/cheese penne cooked to al dente. A special kind of restaurant. Chai latte and cafe au lait to end evening. Sorry no photos, too hungry!!
