Suwa, Nagano, Japan｜Kawaratei

The food is very delicious and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The customer service was polite, and I felt that the staff were very elegant from the way they spoke and the atmosphere. There is not just one main dish, there are 3.4 types of fish plates and meat plates, all of which are combined with grilled vegetables and fruits, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors! Everything was delicious, but it was the first time for me to try this combination of Kuroge Wagyu beef and figs, and I was so impressed by how delicious it was that I have been eating that combination at home as well. It's not as good as the store, but it's delicious! The dessert brûlée had vanilla in the cream and was very delicious. I thought I was going to end up with brûlée, but I was happy to find that they also had sorbet. There were three types of sorbet on the plate, and a pear cut out like a pearl was placed on top. It looked stylish and perfect, but the taste was also exquisite. I especially like the cranberry flavored sorbet! I go to Suwa often, so I thought I'd eat here next time. I went without a reservation, but it seemed to be popular and there were only a few seats left, so I recommend going with a reservation. I will also make a reservation next time. It was a restaurant where you could clearly see the reviews and the reason why it was popular. I really like it

Visited for lunch while sightseeing in Suwa. Among the several course dishes, we had the duck, beef, and pork confit course. All dishes were excellent. If I ever visit Suwa, I definitely want to go again.

The inside of the restaurant is spacious and I like that the tables next to me are not too close together. The seats by the window are bright and have an open feel. The seasoning of the food is not too strong and the quantity is not too much, which I like. The prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly, and the store is comfortable.
