Lovely hospitable staff at this mountain top restaurant. Amusing wood carvings outside and various astronomical pictures on the walls. The perfect pit stop after a long climb. I had a super cheap, tasty katsu curry followed by a matcha ice cream. I'd highly recommend this as a daytrip with the wasabi farm.

It is not well known, but I think it is full of charms that new campsites do not have, such as location, service, cleanliness, lunch restaurant, and a bathhouse with a panoramic view of Azumino. The price of each facility is also conscientious

I used the auto campsite for the Golden Week camp. Although bonfires are prohibited, bonfires using bonfires are OK and firewood is also sold. It seems that direct fire is prohibited. I borrowed an A2 and A3 site from my friend, but it was a long and thin site with only the width of a four-person one-pole tent. There is a high possibility that the guy rope will protrude a little. I don't think you can use the A1 site unless you are solo or on a motorcycle. I think it's a beautiful person who is taking care of the toilet kitchen. It was very nice to have a toilet kitchen near the site and use it. I used the hot spring after checking out. The scenery from the bath was wonderful and the fatigue of camping was healed. However, the hot water was boiled water that smelled of chlorine. I was at a loss because bonfires were prohibited, but when I found out that bonfires were possible, it became a campground that I would like to visit again. I wonder if this size could be a little cheaper. postscript I used the C1 site for my second camping in Tenpyo Forest. It was the middle of summer vacation in late July, and it was a hot time. It was very good. However, the kitchen and the toilet are a little far away, so I wanted to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but I held off until the sun came up and slept. The ground was dirt and leaves and the pegs did not get dirty. The popular site B was gravel, and the sun was shining on the tent from the morning and it looked hot. Site D was turf-like grass and a little dirt, and it was shaded like Site C, but the toilet was the furthest away. Because it is in the mountains, there are many insects, but there were many horseflies and ants, and there were not many mosquitoes. If you go camping in the summer, I recommend C site.
