Azumino, Nagano, Japan｜Hikariko

What an amazing and wonderful meal with top class service in a beautiful homey restaurant. The couple serving us were lovely people and the food was excellent. We had different set meals and they were all brilliantly executed. The produce used was super fresh and high quality, and I especially loved the set with the sashimi and tempura. The restaurant overlooks a rice paddy and most seats offer a lovely view of the surrounding area and the Northern Alps. Probably my favorite restaurant across Japan.

2023/4/17 (Mon) Bike walk 🏍️ Stopped for lunch on the way ☀️🍴 The parking space under the store was full, so I parked my bike in the parking space 50m ahead (on the right side of the center rope (on the store side))🅿️🏍️ Ordered “Hikariko Gozen (Jonen)” from the lunch menu📄✨ The sashimi, tempura, and small bowls were delicious🐟🍤🍚😋🎵 Dessert was also included after the meal🍰I was very satisfied😋💕

The Japanese style steak bowl had a ``meat'' feel to it and was well seasoned and very delicious! The salads, side dishes, and desserts were also very delicious and felt like they were made with care. The view from the window was soothing and calming. I was looking for something delicious to eat and the reviews were good so I went there. It's located a little off the street, so you can get there if you set your navigation properly, but if you go there by accident, you might miss the turn. You have to take the stairs to the second floor, but there are handrails so you don't have to worry. There are other menu items that I would like to try, so I would definitely like to visit again.
