Azumino, Nagano, Japan｜Tenho Horiganeten

I visited here at the end of my Azumino trip. Although it was past 2pm, the restaurant was almost full. Judging from what other customers are saying, I wonder if it was recently featured on the Kenmin Show? That was the atmosphere. So, I went into the store and looked at the menu to order, but there were quite a lot of choices (it was a mess and it was hard to see lol), so I was hesitant, but I ordered the Taiwanese ramen large, the deep-fried meat ramen, and the kids plate 2. Is this the default ramen other than Taiwanese ramen? My impression is that it's pretty quick and you can eat as much as you want, so it's delicious. If I had to compare it to other places, it would be the kindness of Nagoya's Sugakiya and Wakayama's Green Corner. The fried meat (tonkatsu?) is also a perfect match with its slightly sweet seasoning. The base of Taiwanese ramen also adds a punch to this gentleness, so even though it was a little spicy, it felt like the tenderness was superior, and at the end of the trip, I was able to return home wrapped in gentleness.

It is a long-established store loved by locals. It's okay to bring your family. Old-fashioned delicious ramen. There is a small rise in the back, so you can relax quite slowly.

November 4, 2023 I visited on a trip from Chiba! [Access/Parking] It is located along the prefectural highway. I was looking for a store that looked empty, but the road in front of it had a lot of traffic than I expected, and the parking lot was quite small with only about 10 spaces. Since it was half price gyoza day, I visited around 2pm and it was pretty crowded. 【Inside the store】 I had the impression that it was a normal Tenhou, but it's a bit small and feels like home! [Garlic ramen] I love garlic, so I ordered the garlic ramen, the gyoza, which was half price, and half the rice! We arrived in about 10 minutes! I often visit the Chinese restaurant chain Tenhou in Nagano and always receive a set meal. This was my first time ordering noodles, and to be honest, I thought the noodles were a little weird. It wasn't bad, it was just delicious, but maybe it's because I'm used to eating Jiro-style or Iekei-style ramen. Tenhou's soup lacked richness and I could hardly feel the garlic. Also, the noodles were thin and not very chewy, just like the ones you get at the supermarket. However, the gyoza was delicious! It seems like the stir-fried vegetables and gyoza are delicious at Tenhou! If I have a chance to visit again next time, I would like to try the stir-fried vegetables! !
