Came in here knowing pretty much no Japanese, restaurant does not have English menus FYI. After a bit of Google translate and the staffs patience managed to order some tempura and rice. It came with some added food to try. All of it was really good and excellent value. Staff were very patient with us, can't fault them

This is the best and most authentic Japanes restaurant you will find in the neighborhood. Don't be fooled by all the reviews. We learned the hard way. This place is run by an elderly husband and wife team. Husband the chef will cook up an amazing range of food from tofu salad to tempura to sashimi combos. Interior is comfortable and impeccably clean. Great collection of sakes too. Just really genuine and kind owners with high quality food.

Kurobe Tateyama trip, a store I found by accident. The food is delicious, and the most important thing is that the service staff is very kind. Although they don't understand each other's language, they still complete the order with ease. The boss is hospitable and a very pleasant dining experience. I recommend it to everyone.
