More Comments at Google MapAfter visiting Suwa Taisha Shrine, I popped in and had "Tomato Tsukemen". As other people have commented, this is authentic tsukemen. As a country soba fan, I like the whole grain noodles with plenty of wheat bran, and I also like that they are particular about the tomatoes they use. The slightly spicy tsukemen increased my appetite♪ It's inside a souvenir shop, so before I entered I thought they were competing on location, but I was completely disappointed in a good way!
I stopped by on my way back from the main shrine of Suwa Taisha Shrine with my grandson who had returned home for Obon. Ramen and curry was a standard lunch, but it was delicious. We also had gyoza together. The Nakaten-style structure at the entrance to the shrine evokes a sense of nostalgia. I like the way things are mixed up.
A cute shop unlike any other ramen shop. But the ramen was authentic. A simple soup that even an old man in his 40s will drink up when he notices it. And slippery chewy noodles. According to the staff, the soup is full of vegetables, and the noodles are original to a noodle factory called Menbaka in Nagano Prefecture. This is a ramen shop that you definitely want to visit when visiting Suwa Taisha. Don't let the cuteness fool you! !
