My family and I have been coming to 勝味庵 for many many years. It's simply the best tonkatsu you can have in the world! Now I travel from Hawaii to Nagano just to eat their wonderful dishes. I love them!!

This is a must visit whenever passing by on the highway. The Katsu is crispy on the outside, tender and succulent on the inside. The miso soup is the best I’ve had and the rice is pure perfection. Order the pork fillet Katsu set that comes with the massive prawn!
