Fujimi, Nagano, Japan｜そば処 おっこと亭

Had a class making soba noodles here. The woman running the class was very friendly and patient, and was clearly very skilled. Definitely enjoyed the experience!

I visited for lunch. There are table seats and tatami rooms. When you sit down, you can have cucumbers with tea. Please eat it smack with miso. It was delicious. For soba, we had Kiridame soba and tempura. Soba noodles for two or more people are served in a wooden box. Two of us ordered three servings of kiridame soba and tempura. I ate it in no time.

I was determined that I couldn't leave Shinshu without eating Shinshu soba, and I found a restaurant near my destination that looked delicious. It is said to be an area where the word otoshi is written as okto. The shop had the atmosphere of local mothers working energetically, and the homely atmosphere was soothing. It seems that the locals are very particular about their buckwheat flour, and as you drive by, you'll see lots of buckwheat fields around here. The soba noodles are sharp and handsome, and when you dip the tip of the noodle into the soup and slurp it up, the aroma of soba gently tickles your nostrils.It was an exquisite soba dish. Customers came one after another, including cars with license plates from other prefectures. I was able to visit a popular restaurant that I was satisfied with.
