Tateshina, Nagano, Japan｜Yamayu

This time, I visited Mt. Yatsugatake for the first time from my hometown of Shimane. I searched online for a place where I could enjoy local food after climbing, and this place seemed pretty good, so I decided to give it a try. I don't know how to read the store's name, but it seems to be pronounced "Yamayuu" in Yamamomen. Tonkatsu is my favorite food, so I had the Tadeshina pork loin cutlet set meal. The batter was crispy, the meat was soft, and the sauce was delicious.It was quite delicious. I was also interested in horse sashimi, but after that I was going to experience horseback riding and interact with horses ^^, so I would like to try it another time. The atmosphere of the store, facing the tree-lined street in front of it, was very relaxing. I still had some time until my next appointment, so I relaxed for a while while enjoying some coffee after the meal. (23/10/5 noon visit)

Used for dinner. I had the Tateshina pork loin cutlet set meal (1815 yen). Pork is soft and crispy. I thought the appetizer bracken was a rare ingredient. I am satisfied with this quality at this price. Yakiniku and horse sashimi were also on the menu. There is a parking lot. Table seats x 10

It is located on the street where the shops of Goddess Lake are lined up. While the other shops were quiet, this one was crowded and almost full. I think this is one of the few places where you can get horse meat. The tonkatsu was delicious, and most of the people who ordered it were the tonkatsu set meals. It may take some time for the meal to be served. The parking lot is right in front. It's free, so I think it's a good idea to take a walk around the area after your meal. There is also a farm soft serve ice cream within a 5-10 minute drive, so I always look forward to going there for dessert after my meal.
