The sauce katsu (ソースかつ) was particularly good, with a very crunchy outside and sweet sauce. The おやこどん was good too. And the people were absolutely delightful and very helpful. Stop by if you get a chance!

I had pork noodles for lunch in the middle of touring. I checked in advance, but it is an old-fashioned Chinese soba with a clear soy sauce flavor. The noodles were a little hard, but it's a matter of taste. The flavor of the char siu was quite strong, but I personally liked it.

The traditional soy sauce ramen is delicious. The soup stock with dried sardines is wonderful. I think there are lots of delicious things other than ramen. If you're looking for a drink, we recommend the chicken giblet stew and the fried burdock root. Other than that, you can't go wrong no matter what you eat. This is my hometown where I was born. I've been familiar with the ramen from this restaurant since I was a child. When I eat soy sauce ramen at other restaurants, I end up comparing it to the ramen here. For me, this is the restaurant that serves as the base for soy sauce ramen. I'm thinking that my last supper will be ramen here. This is a historic store that has been in business for over 100 years. This is a store that I hope will continue to exist for many years to come.
