More Comments at Google MapThe entrance was an amazing zen garden with snow everywhere. Inside the soba place it was so cultural full of Japanese motifs. The soba was amazing! The service was so friendly and nice! I highly suggest you come here to relax and eat good food
The entrance looks like a Japanese garden, there are kiwi fruit shelves on the side, and the inside of the store is a renovated old folk house, with tatami floors and tables. It's a calm store. The courteous customer service is wonderful! But...opens at 11:30... Soba ends at around 12:20...Is it a super rare restaurant? I completed the course in 2 groups after me. I chose walnut soba for my order... You can enjoy both walnut sauce and soba soup, with a small bowl of stewed food and pickles. 1000 yen It takes about 30 minutes from entering the store to being seated (probably). However...it was very delicious. It was a feast.
I visited at 13:00 on a weekday. First, buy a meal ticket from the ticket vending machine. There was space in the store, so I was guided to a counter seat by the window. This time, I ordered "Mori Soba" for 800 yen and "Maitake Mushroom Tempura" for 300 yen. A thin soba with a wheat flavor. I think it has a firm texture and goes down the throat very well. "Maitake Mushroom Tempura" is also crispy and juicy. It comes with tempura soup, but I would have liked to have it with tea salt as well. I visited this restaurant because it had good reviews, and the soba noodles were even more delicious than I expected. Inside the restaurant, there is a counter seat for 4 people, a counter seat for 2 people, 2 tables for 4 people, and 1 table for 2 people. It has a calm atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era, a renovated private house, and the counter seats by the window overlook the garden, giving you the feeling of taking a breather. The staff (landlady) is so polite that I feel a bit intimidated, but this is a restaurant where you can enjoy a pleasant meal until the very end.
