I visited around 11:30 on a weekday. The restaurant was full of office workers and locals. I ordered extra large ramen and was surprised that you can eat ramen at such a low price in this day and age. Even if the set items are not on the menu, they will make them for you if you ask. I recommend it as it is reasonably priced and tastes delicious.

A truly good old set meal restaurant from the Showa era. A kind lady will ask you about your order. After skiing at Sugadaira Kogen, we had a poppoya set meal on a cold, snowy day. It seems that you can change the ramen to meat udon or other noodles. Anyway, all the dishes are delicious! Boiled offal and meat udon are sure to satisfy all five organs. In particular, the udon soup stock was exquisite. The side dish of Nozawana also goes well with the rice. It was really delicious. I would like to stop by again when I'm nearby. Thank you for the meal. Please note that electronic money and cards cannot be used. By the way, the name is Ekimae Shokudo, but I wonder if there was a station nearby...? If you look into it, it seems that there was once a line called the Ueda Kotsu Sanada Bayo Line. It is interesting to eat while feeling the history.
