Really good soba, friendly staff, and a great view. Very popular, so we were the second group in line at 10:50 on a Sunday morning. They have this great soba called 'oboroshi' where the dipping sauce is spicy daikon radish juice that you add miso, onion, and bonito flakes to as you like. The name means something like 'iris house' and they also sell decorations made from the dried stalks of the irises that bloom on the grounds in late spring. Highly recommended!

The tempura at this soba restaurant, which can be accessed by helicopter, is very delicious and satisfying.Of course, the soba noodles go down easily, so I highly recommend it.
