Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan｜Sheridan

Absolutely lovely place. A cozy and comfortable environment to eat in with the building surrounded by trees as well as a center room that had some nature as well. While I was there it was a mother and daughter team running it and they were so nice. I did what I could to speak totally in Japanese, they were nice enough to also reply in English when I struggled. We also had a nice conversation about the curling arena nearby because I was playing at the hockey rink right next door. The pancakes, bacon, and coffee were all delicious as well. I recommend this place without a doubt.

Sheridan is a wonderful breakfast and brunch restaurant in Karuizawa. The pancakes are excellent and the Chicago-style oven baked omelets are out of this world. I particularly recommend the salmon omelet which is covered in blanket of smoked salmon slices. Also, the restaurant itself was architected by a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright.

very friendly person, top food, restaurant is very comfortable. Just wonderful for a nice brunch
