Nagano, Japan｜Restaurant Kawabata

Came in for lunch. This is a standard set meal restaurant when you come to Nagano City. Without hesitation, I ordered the usual motsuyaki lunch for 880 yen. It's stable and delicious! The rice bowl meal and the pork soup that comes with the bowl are delicious! Tonjiru, the store says it's "mini pork soup"... I'll come back later!

I went to Nagano city for work. My colleague who went with me also said it was his first time in 10 years. He told me that he had had delicious food before, so he showed me around. The inside of the store is very spacious. Table seats and small raised seats! There are many seats. However, the place was full at lunchtime. However, I was able to be guided around without having to wait. The store clerk was very efficient. However, the response was not sloppy - I was left with a good impression 😄 This time it's a mixed fry set meal! I was wondering whether to switch to pork soup until the end... 330 yen is a pain for 900 yen mixed fries😭 It seems that many people have changed to pork soup. I'll be patient this time. I still regret it 😁 Mixed fries are thick fried horse mackerel! Fried squid! Tiny (crab) cream croquette😄 As someone who loves crab cream croquettes... There's crab cream croquette on the menu... I wonder if it's the same thing? It would be nice if there were a lot. but! but! The fries I received! Delicious ❤ The tartare is also good. The fries were crispy. No wonder the seats are full. I also had a decent amount of rice. I'm full. When I think about it...I'm very satisfied even if I don't use pork soup. So... when I go to Nagano again! Visited for dinner. The photo shows "Motsuyaki set meal" 800 yen and "Mixed fries set meal" 870 yen. ``Pork Soup Mini'' (330 yen) is a change from miso soup. The sign at the entrance said "Original Tonjiru Tomotsuyaki", so I ordered it. The amount of motsuyaki was larger than it looked, and the pork soup with boiled egg and large pieces of tofu was extremely delicious. The staff at the store were very kind, and there was a large parking lot so it was easy to get to by car. Next time I will definitely try the ``Pork soup set meal''. Thank you for the meal.
