Obuse, Nagano, Japan｜小布施 寄り付き料理 蔵部

Beautiful, old house made into a restaurant. Would recommend to tourists, to order the local Obuse sake and wine when dining here. I visited for lunch in May with a friend and my baby. Would like to go there again for dinner with my husband after a walk around the town. Within 30 minutes from Nagano Station if driving.

One of the best restaurant I’ve been in Japan. The food was succulent. Starting with 8 kind of assorted appetizer coming with an English explanation for all of them. The main dish was Char with rice (10/10) accompanied with a delicious soup and some vegetables. The staff was extremely kind, and the restaurant is a piece of art in itself. A must-go in Nagano!

Amazing food! Pork with apples was star dish, the rest amazing too. Price is moderate to low for the quality dinner menu set. Highly recommend 👍
