This is the handmade soba Shukubo Kusugawa near Houkousha of Togakushi Shrine. It's right in front of the Hokosha parking lot, so if you know it, you can find it right away. The appearance of the shop is a temple lodging, so it is a historical and tasteful building. Rather than soba noodles, I was attracted by the appearance of this building and stopped by. It's a blend of Japanese and Western styles, with chairs and other items in the interior that gives a strong sense of Japanese architecture, and it's highly practical. I was grateful for this chair for the stairs leading to Hokosha Shrine and my legs going to Hinomikosha Shrine. And I ordered a hand-powered meal. I tried to regain my energy with grated yam, but I still love eating soba noodles with grated yam. So, what came out is the gozen in the picture. how is it? This atmosphere! The atmosphere created by the temple lodgings that quietly continue to make soba will lift your spirits even before you eat. And Togakushi's botchi platter! If you eat a bite, you can feel the essence! A bite of wild vegetable rice was also very sticky and delicious. Also, I want to eat. I would love to spend some time here. It was such a lovely place.

After descending down the mountain from Hinomikosha Shrine to Hokosha Shrine and praying with a dreamlike feeling, I suddenly looked at the soba menu signboard at the inn! I gave up on the soba restaurant in Chusha, where I had to wait for an hour, and decided to come here. The quiet appearance of a Japanese house, while looking out at the garden. The delicious shrimp tempura and grated soba gave me energy. It also came with fried eggplant, and I was grateful for the reasonable price! ️ It was a perfect restaurant to end our tour of the five shrines, leaving both our hearts and stomachs satisfied! ! I will definitely visit again❣️

Togakushi soba is delicious. It's fun to use local ingredients for the tempura and other small dishes. You can sit at a table and your feet will be comfortable. It's right next to the Hokosha parking lot, so you can stop by after visiting the shrine. Kusukawa-san's parking lot is also located at the back. The corona measures are perfect 👍 The owner is also kind and really nice. When I was cold, they would turn on the stove next to me and keep me warm. Thank you!
