Iiyama, Nagano, Japan｜ワレもこウ

Everything was amazing, but perhaps if they are going to translate the menu they should be a bit more specific to the type of dish. For example, I had no idea the crab cream croquette (which was delicious!) came in a burger. I would at least insert (burger/rice/steak/etc.) at the end of the main ingredients. This is just being nitpicky though, as if I knew a bit more Japanese I would find no other fault. Absolutely welcoming atmosphere and service.

Walked into this restaurant on a whim. Couldn't understand the menu. Took chef's recommendation. Thought it would cost a bomb. But damn, 1000 yen for an excellent set meal of sauteed ousters!

Amazing meal. The best meal Ive had in Japan. Had the 7 course degustation. Every dish was impeccable. If this restaurant was in any major city it would be michelin starred and be way more expensive.
