Nakano, Nagano, Japan｜旬菜懐石吟

Delicious food, beautifully presented. We were brought here by our host at Yumoto Ryokan in Shibu Onsen. The service was superb and, despite the language barrier, every effort was made to communicate what was in each dish. We tried multiple things we would never have eaten before and were pleasantly surprised. If you are English or American, some dishes may be a little outside your comfort zone but you should give them a go and I bet you'll be surprised at how much you enjoy them. It is seasonal cuisine so you may not get the same dishes we had.

The owner was chatty and cheerful. Service was superb and food was delicious. Recommended to sit at counter to chat with the chef.

This reastarant is perfect Japanese reatarant in Nagano. I feel I was served well like very important person.
