Iiyama, Nagano, Japan｜Cafe 里わ

Delicious, affordable and nostalgic. That’s how I would describe Cafe 里わ’s curry. At only 850 yen, it comes with fresh Japanese rice, lots of different stewed vegetables and tender pork that almost melts in your mouth. Would recommend it to anyone passing through Iiyama that needs a quick, tantalizing bite.

The taco rice was my saviour

This cafe is so stylish that you won't believe it's a restaurant at a roadside station. It wasn't crowded in the morning, so I was able to enjoy my coffee in a relaxed manner. You can buy several types of desserts from Iiyama City, so you can enjoy the local popular flavors here.
