Kitakata, Fukushima, Japan｜蔵屋敷あづまさ

Was here as part of a tour group. I do not think I would be able to visit this restaurant if I didn't join this tour to Japan. The restaurant specializes in Kitakata ramen. The ramen is exceptional. I was told its handmade. Broth is light but flavourful. Noodles are cooked just nicely. The sides are wonderful as well. If you are in the area do give this restaurant a visit. The restaurant has a small shop selling handmade crafts and bags. And the building is so beautiful, with a small Japanese garden by the side. Quaint and peaceful. Quite an experience for a tourist like me I must say!

My first taste of ramen in Japan! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Thanks to their Filipna friend who also welcomed our group!
