Experienced a cozy ambiance, kind service, and the delicious sauce katsu (pork cutlet) bowl. Be aware that they take their last orders at 2:00 pm.

I stopped by with my family while traveling. I ate the Aizu Zanmai Gozen and it was delicious with plenty of wild vegetables. The chilled mini soba was delicious, and I especially liked the sweet braised cod 😄 We also had the boiled cutlet bowl and cutlet curry that my child couldn't finish because of the volume, but the cutlet was also thick and filling! The curry was a strange combination of the sweetness of the fruit (peach?) and the spiciness😋

It's located on the second floor of the Aizu Samurai Residence, and since it was out of the tourist season, we were able to have a relaxing meal. I ordered nabeyaki udon and stewed cutlet on a ceramic plate from Kuyotei Lunch for a limited time. Udon and bonito were served in single-serve pots with a lid, simmered in solid fuel, and eaten piping hot. The soup stock felt a little sweet, but when poured over rice it was just right. Both were delicious and reasonably priced.
