More Comments at Google MapThe new soba was just right and very delicious. Order duck soup bamboo steamer The light flavored dipping sauce was also good. If you want soba, this is the place!
I think it's a hidden gem that doesn't get many tourists because it's in an inconspicuous place on a back street. I had a set of zaru soba and mini ginger-grilled rice bowl, and the soba was chewy and delicious (≧∇≦)b
There are three restaurants in Nakanosawa Onsen, but this is the only one that serves handmade soba. I make soba noodles every morning, 365 days a year. My head is down. It's off the main street and has a dilapidated signboard, so you might not notice it, but the food is authentic. I order duck bamboo shoots in the summer and duck nanban in the winter. The duck is tough, but that's what it is. There is Katsudon on the menu, but you can also order Katsudon with sauce. The price is the same 950 yen. The meat is thick and there's a lot of cabbage, both of which are delicious. There is a menu called Chinese, but it means Chinese noodles (ramen). I eat Kitakata ramen, but this ramen is also delicious. It is unusual for hot soba noodles to come with soba hot water. The handmade soba, ramen, and katsudon are all delicious.
