More Comments at Google MapSignature dish - kijijuu is amazing. Ate it twice in two days while staying in the area. Owner is really friendly too.
This is a restaurant specializing in chicken dishes that has the atmosphere of an old-fashioned set meal restaurant. When I saw someone for the first time, the host explained the menu carefully. Kijiju and Tori Shumai are said to be the specialty. Kijiju tasted like a yakitori bowl, and the chicken shumai tasted just like I imagined it would, but it was delicious. The fried chicken and fried tatsuta also seem to be delicious, so I'd like to try those next time.
I've been there several times since I was taken by a friend a few years ago and fell in love with the delicious taste. When I say pheasant weight, I think that it is pheasant meat, but it is said that it is not pheasant meat because it is a method of baking dough. For first-time customers, the owner will explain it to you. Kijiju is delicious with exquisite grilled meat and seasoning. I always eat it with a little Japanese pepper. You can take it out, but it's best to have it freshly baked at the store. As everyone has written, the chicken shumai is also delicious, but the highlight is the tatsuta-age. Here, fried chicken is bone-in, and tatsuta-fried is boneless, but tatsuta-age is huge anyway. I would love to eat it freshly fried, but unfortunately I have a cat tongue so I can't eat it until it cools down a bit (laughs). The inside of the store has a very old atmosphere, but I like this kind of thing, so I don't mind it at all. However, it may not be good for those who are impatient... Both the husband and wife are really good people, especially the husband is quite a car lover. If you're not busy, you might be able to hear about the history of cars in the past.
