Naraha, Fukushima, Japan｜Butaichi

One of the best places I’ve ever eaten Butadon (pork rice bowl) at. It’s definitely a “must-eat there” kind of place. I’m really happy it’s there since it’s one of the few restaurants I have seen along with Fukushima Coast line that is still open. They are only open on weekdays and close at 7pm so make sure you go early and plan a day to get out there. I ordered the set plate. A lot of food for about 1250¥, a reasonable price for that much food and I was full all evening. Everything is made to order. There is a small vending like machine by the door and just simply select what you want and pay for it and the cook with check with you. When it’s ready you’ll see your number appear on one of the TV screens. Very easy system for people with limited Japanese ability.

Whenever I pass by a shop along National Route 6, I always want to take a detour. This is my favorite shop 🥳 The store appears to be occupying the site of a former convenience store. There is a counter and a tatami room 😌 There are also set meals and you order from a ticket vending machine, but I don't have an image photo. That's a bit inconvenient 😔 The most important pork bowl is charcoal-grilled pork mixed with a sweet and rich secret sauce. The meal is progressing lol Would it have been better to make it larger? I regret it every time and feel confused lol At first, I enjoyed it without adding mayonnaise and added toppings halfway through. I recommend changing the taste while mixing mayonnaise. We also have on-site sales, so if you see a blue truck, take it out. It might be a good idea to try buying one! 😏

I ordered the secret pork bowl. The meat is tender and fragrantly grilled. It has a strong flavor and the sweet sauce is addictive.
