Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜そば屋山と空

It's a small shop by the roadside. Had the tororo soba which uncle was hesitant to recommend as the yam is slimy. It was delicious! We had tempura prawn and veg. Had a delicious meal.

I had a set with tempura and soba and it was really good. The soba was chewy and delicious, probably because of the high buckwheat content, and the tempura was really, really delicious. The fried shrimp was also delicious, but I was surprised that the mushrooms were especially delicious. Even though I usually hate mushrooms, I really enjoyed it. It was a bit far from downtown Jozankei, so I had to walk a long way, but it was worth it.

I stopped by on my way out of Jozankei in the cold winter!! Totoro cold soba was recommended and it was so delicious!! I still remember the owner wondering if Korea also eats Totoro (yams)...!!! However, Korea also eats yams, but I first had Totoro Soba in Japan and it was so delicious that I started looking for yams in Korea that I had never eaten before. Oh, and the fried soba was delicious too!!! Next time I come to Jozankei near Sapporo, I want to go again :)!! Thank you to the owner for being kind and making delicious food. Thanks to you, I have great memories from Japan.
