Their sausages are excellent - just the right balance of spices, herbs, lots of flavor and great texture. Fried potatoes are cooked to perfection, with generous seasoning (not so common in Japan). Their homemade beef curry is to die for, with such a depth of flavor and super tender beef chunks. We also got the ice cream with this amazing I’m that was also homemade. After staying at Gokurakukan, I have been using it for lunch in Kusatsu several times. I am very happy with your wife's wonderful hospitality and delicious rice. It's along Sai-no-Kawara-dori, but it's on the 2nd floor, so it's a hidden gem. I will go again.
