Oyama, Tochigi, Japan｜Bistrot Ochiai

Used by two people when on a business trip. When I tried to go there on a weekday, it was full, so I made a reservation for the weekend. It's in a good location, a 2-3 minute walk from the east exit of Oyama Station, and although it's a rather small restaurant with a seating capacity of about 20, the interior, which makes use of wood, has a relaxing atmosphere and is comfortable. The owner is a sommelier and has a very good wine selection and taste, and the food he prepares is also exquisite. I think this is the best place to enjoy wine and food around Oyama Station. This is a restaurant I definitely want to visit again when staying near Oyama Station.

Friday 21:55, invited by the wonderful atmosphere. I was not allowed to enter the store even though it was over 30 minutes before the last order. Someone who looked like the owner was in the kitchen and gave some instructions to a woman in the hall, who made a small cross on her chest and showed it to me. I feel very sad and disappointed.

This time, for lunch, I had a hamburger steak with horseradish sauce and chocolate fondant. It's sometimes crowded during lunch, so it's best to make a reservation. There are so many different desserts that I always have trouble deciding which one to choose.
