More Comments at Google Map2024 update: in 2023, we spent over 7万円 eating at Monte Corvo. Considering the lunch menu is 1400円, that's a lot of pizza. That's how much we like the place. I eat a LOT of pizzas. Coming from continental Europe, this is as close as this gets to Neapolitan style with a twist, because the ingredients aren't all the same, naturally. The dough is to die for. Pasta is a pass, but come for the pizza. Really, the pizza. The tomato sauce goes perfectly well with the dough. Their side menu is good too, I like their starter salad very much. If you have the chance to, eat their special 5 cheese pizza - it's pricey, but it's made with locally produced cheese. It's incredible. If you're only stopping for lunch, you can get their tasty focaccia sandwich for 300円. Please come and eat at Monte Corvo. You'll never regret it. - Cél (@tochigurume)
We are open from 15:00 this afternoon. I came here for a late lunch. I ordered Genovese Margherita, red shrimp pasta, and homemade ginger ale. They suggested that if I told them in advance that I would be sharing the pasta, they would divide it into two parts, so I requested it. The pizza was crispy and chewy and surprisingly refreshing, and the rich tomato pasta was also delicious. I would like to visit you for lunch next time. The parking lot was on the opposite side of the road, and the interior had a bright atmosphere with tables decorated in white.
My husband and I came here for lunch on Sunday. It was just before 12:00 and there didn't seem to be any customers yet, but the place quickly filled up. It seems like a popular shop. The three recommended lunch menu items cost 1,300 yen, and the other items individually cost around 1,700 yen, but since they all come with a salad and drink, I felt it was quite reasonable. On this day, I had Siciliana with anchovies and Genovese with seafood, both of which were delicious. The pizza seemed to be an authentic type baked in a stone oven, and it was well charred and had a nice flavor. I'm sorry to say this, but I didn't expect to be able to eat such good pizza in Karasuyama, so I'm a little impressed. There are some issues, like if the seafood ingredients were a little fresher or if the coffee was a little better, but I'm satisfied with the food being served here and at this price. The interior of the store is bright and looks like a renovated private house, and although it's low cost, it's stylishly set up and I think it's neat and clean. It was difficult to find the parking lot at first, but when I was confused, a staff member from the store called out to me and helped me out. In that sense, the staff were kind, polite, and had good customer service. I pass through Karasuyama often, so I wanted to go there again.
