More Comments at Google MapGreat bakery with friendly owners. A perfect place for breakfast or afternoon snacks. A wide range of choices from sweet breads to savory pasteries. I'd highly recommend this place!
I ordered an omakase dinner for 5000 yen/person. The appetizer was prosciutto, pepper cheese, liver pate, and pickles. Even though I don't like liver, it was delicious. The potato soup has a light and smooth texture. The shrimp simmered in white wine is plump and the sauce is exquisite! Two slices of bread and a second baguette disappeared in the blink of an eye 😂 The wagyu steak and beef simmered in red wine are soft and smooth, with a gentle salty taste that goes well with the alcohol. Needless to say, the dessert apple pie and caramel cinnamon ice cream are delicious😋 There are some people who have posted unkind reviews, but this is a restaurant that I hope will continue for 100 years. It's true that the husband is in charge of the whole thing by himself, so there are some parts that take time. However, I didn't feel that the service was bad or that it wasn't worth the price. No matter how many times I eat it, I'm impressed. It's a really delicious and reasonably priced restaurant. Please continue to take care of your body. I will eat there again.
I happened to visit this place on the night I stayed at the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter while volunteering in the Mabi area. I can't tell you enough about it because I don't have any photos, but it's a wonderful long-established French restaurant. The interior must have been very fashionable in the Showa era over 30 years ago...Although you can feel the flow of time since the Showa era...I think it's a wonderful restaurant. Set meal Vichyssoise and Boeuf Bourguignon ,was delicious. I had a lively conversation with the chef, who may seem stubborn at first glance, but is actually very friendly. We were served hors d'oeuvres that were not included in the course. If I come back to Kurashiki, I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.
