Himeji, Hyogo, Japan｜Le Chat Botté - ルシャボテ

Absolutely fabulous meal created by a kind and talented French chef. A multi-course meal took us from a spectacular butternut squash soup through to salmon tartare to a steak whose sauce I’d want to bathe in. Even the dessert was fantastic! Every bite was a delight. A must-eat in Himeji!

Stumbled in here on the way to the castle. Delicious lunch set. Felt welcomed as though I were in the chef's own home and the food tasted as such. The soup, salmon and chicken leg were all stand-outs.

Had a great lunch over the weekend! The restaurant has authentic and delicious french food (which is hard to find in Japan). The owners of the restaurant (Dimitri and his wife) are very welcoming and care about their customers.
