Stopped by on a friends recommendation after spending sometime in the nearby mountains. Was met with warm greetings and smiles by the owner/chef Suda-san. He recommended some dishes and each was on point. The corn beignets were just the right amount of crispy with a soft interior. And the corn itself was such high quality that it made the dish all the more appetizing. The spare ribs were melting off the bone good and packed with flavor. And do yourself a favor by ordering the carrot salad and the terine. They were specials on the day I came but you may get lucky if you ask for it. Overall a great restaurant, I’ll definitely be back and now have a good reason to visit Gifu more often.

It is a public French restaurant in Yanagase 😊 I ordered an appetizer called Fromage Tet, which was a jellied head of a pig 🐷, and the main course was stewed pork belly and vegetables with couscous♫ It's so delicious♫ The preparation, seasoning, and presentation are excellent. This price is cheap for this quality. It's an open kitchen, so you can see the kitchen, but it's clean and comfortable.

The pate de campagne, fromage ted, and rillettes are all delicious and authentic. The homemade sausage was not too salty, and although it was large, it was refreshing and delicious. We had tripe, Lyon salad (the poached egg was also good), saury pate, and beef steak, all of which were excellent. There was still something I wanted to eat, but I ended up finishing it due to my stomach. Above all, I was surprised at how modest the price was. The cooking skills were good and the food came out quickly.
