Gujo, Gifu, Japan｜Bistro Reijiro

Located a short walk from the main sites, this small restaurant seems to only serve 10 people for lunch which includes a simple but rotating gesticulation menu for 1210 yen including tax. Coffee is also possible for 220 yen including tax. What most impressed me was the smoked tofu which had a very creamy cheese like flavour and texture. I just walked in off the street, but you may also need to reserve in advance. The chef seemed to be able to speak very simple English which was an unexpected surprise when it came to explaining the food.

Small, cozy Italian restaurant with great food, meticulous presentation, and impressive wine list. I can only report on lunch, for which they serve only a fixed menu, but it was a brilliant salad, followed by an exceptional chicken pasta dish. Coffee was served with two tiny, hand-made chocolate crepes. Staff couldn't have been friendlier too. Highly recommended.

We had lunch! The atmosphere inside the store is really nice. It is a comfortable space where you can eat slowly. I made a reservation one week in advance because the menu was only omakase. I was very satisfied with the appearance and taste of the pasta as an appetizer. I got coffee and snacks after dinner. Next time I would like to visit you for dinner!!
