I visited Gero Onsen while touring the hot springs. Business hours seem to be from 11:00, but today they opened later than that, around 12:00. I ordered Gifu Prefecture's local gourmet dish, Tori-chandon, which is a rice bowl of chicken, topped with a hot egg, and it arrived almost immediately. Mixing the egg with the meat, which has a strong flavor, will make the rice go better. Completed the meal in no time. The slightly browned chicken was very tasty. The owner taught us how to enter Gero Onsen and gave us a lot of information that only locals can provide. According to the owner, the hot spring inns on the west side of the Hida River have smoother water. If you would like to learn about Gero Onsen while having a meal, please do so.
