Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, Japan｜Restaurant Papacaldo

I visited on a trip. Found while strolling around the city and selected Sunday pasta lunch. Comes with appetizer, Aizu vegetable pasta and drink dessert. The appetizers were delicious and the seats were spacious, so we had a relaxing holiday lunch. I would like to use it again when I visit.

I've been there over 100 times in total for over 20 years. The seasoning is finely adjusted depending on the weather and the ingredients of the day, and the dishes are refined to bring out the best in the ingredients, especially the vegetables grown in Aizu. I've been to quite a few Italian restaurants in Tokyo, but this is a unique restaurant when it comes to tasting Aizu ingredients.

When I lived nearby, my family and I often went there to eat. The restaurant has an elegant atmosphere, but is also baby-friendly. The main dishes are made with ingredients from Fukushima Prefecture, and all of them are delicious, making us repeat customers. I haven't been able to go there much since I moved, but when I visited for the first time in a few years, it seemed like they had remembered it, and I felt once again that it was a wonderful shop. As someone like me who likes to eat the food I'm served without taking photos, I also appreciate that they don't allow photos of the inside of the restaurant or the food. This is a restaurant I would like to eat at again.
