Minato City, Tokyo, Japan｜Goryonsan Nishiazabu

Now this is an establishment to visit. When you’re in Tokyo, find the time and means to have dinner here. It’s a yakitori place situated in a neighbourhood in what seems to be an old residence. It is extremely difficult place to find and one which is only frequented by people ‘in the know’ so I do recommend using your phone map to help. I only posted a few pics because truth be told, the sticks kept coming like a tsunami as did the drinks, and I was too inebriated to continue photographing my dinner. Absolute fantastic restaurant and I thoroughly recommend to anyone and everyone when visiting Tokyo.

Amazing food, service and vibe! Everything was delicious and we ordered a dozen dishes (they are all small) we évent got to talk to a local couple sitting next to us in the bar who confirmed this place is excellent by local standards as well. Wouldn’t recommend for vegetarians as even vegetable yakitori we ordered were rapped by meat.

As a foreigner it is impossible to find this place, even if you are directly in front of it you may not be able to identify it as a restaurant. But.. if you have a local friend who is kind enough to bring you to this place, you will have the time of your life. Everything there is great, the food, the drinks, the staff. For me this is a straight 10 out of 10, easily. Good job! Hope to come back soon.
