More Comments at Google MapThis is a shop I've been interested in for a while but never had the chance to visit. It's on Route 20, so I passed by it all the time. About 70% of the seats are occupied. There are table seats and counter seats, and this time we had table seats. Handmade Chinese soy sauce flavor 720 yen Salt and miso cost 50 yen more. The toppings are grass, menma, Naruto, and 2 types of chashu. A soup that uses Daisen chicken from the ``~da'' variety, which is still rare in Yamanashi. It has a strong flavor and just the right amount of seasoning. The flat, hand-kneaded noodles are said to be the best, and they certainly have a chewy texture that's addictive. There are many restaurants in the Tokyo metropolitan area where the soup is exhausting and they don't make the effort to make the noodles, but the noodles here are good. It seems like you could get by with just one soy sauce, but it's about variety. You can get a large portion for 100 yen, but it might have been worth it.
I visited in July 2023 around 6pm on a weekend. The parking lot is at the back of the store. The store opened at 5:30 in the afternoon, so I thought there were already customers, but I was the first one there. I took a seat at the counter and immediately ordered the ``Handmade Wonton Noodles, Soy Sauce Flavor'' for 900 yen. The bowl arrived in less than 5 minutes after ordering. A large bowl of curly noodles drenched in a soy sauce-colored broth served with char siu, nori, and five yellow wontons. If you slurp up the soup, this is good. This time I will have curly noodles. The noodles are coated with the soup and can be eaten all the time. This time, yellow wontons. The meat is stuffed inside, and the skin is chewy and the meat is juicy and delicious. I ate like crazy and finished it in no time. I thought this was a ramen shop that I would like to visit again. I guess it's salty this time. ---------------------- I visited Lingyang again in September 2023. This time, a large serving of wonton noodles (salty) noodles + seasoned egg. And wonton plate (390 yen) The salty flavor wasn't as strong as I expected, but it was still delicious. The seasoned eggs are well soaked with flavor and are definitely exquisite. The wonton dish had more meat than what's in the wonton noodles, and it was juicy and delicious. The staff at the store were kind and I would like to go there again.
I visited on a business trip. This was my first time trying Shirakawa Ramen from Fukushima Prefecture, and I loved the flavor, as the rich soy sauce-flavored soup and the hand-made chewy noodles, as the restaurant's name suggests, went well together. What I ate was "Handmade Char Siu Wonton Noodles". The char siew was soft and flavorful, and the wontons were relatively large and filled with meat. Perhaps because it's a relatively unknown place, it's not crowded even at lunchtime (I've only been there on weekdays, so I don't know if it's on holidays), which was a plus point for me personally. This is a delicious ramen shop that you'll want to come back to again and again.
