Chino, Nagano, Japan｜Tenhou Tsukahara shop

This is a store in front of City Hall. When it's crowded, write your name on the list placed inside the store and wait your turn. The 14th of every month is Tenhou Day! Tantanmen was 140 yen off, so I went there to eat it. I ordered char siu tantan noodles and gyoza for two. The chashu tantanmen has a creamy sesame soup that goes well with the bean sprouts and wakame seaweed. If you don't like the spiciness enough, there is bean sauce and chili oil on the table so you can adjust it accordingly. The gyoza has a unique taste with star anise and cinnamon. It's a little spicy and you can eat it with your chopsticks. After the meal, I ordered a soft serve ice cream for 180 yen. I end up ordering something every time. Next time I'll come on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month when the gyoza are half price.
