Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Gattabozu

When I walked into Gatta Bozu I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere emanating from the well-arranged air plants and beautiful tropical fish swimming in the pristine waters of their aquarium. I ordered a light-tasting chicken broth ramen with slices of thin chicken breast. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicate flavouring and lack of greasy ramen broth. I felt the chef had a passion for his craft and had also created a beautiful environment. I gave 5 stars because I felt it was well deserved for the well priced and tasty bowl of ramen and the amazing environment created by the placement of interesting air plants and aquarium. A truly distinctive place and I hope to return soon.

Chicken karrage and ramen was very delicious. Staff were very helpful even though they did not speak much English
