Ueda, Nagano, Japan｜Mononofu

Excellent shoyu ramen and gyoza, although I've heard some of the other food isn't that great. Go for the "yukimura ramen" and you'll have a great time.

This is a ramen shop right next to Ueda station. Open late at night. I had the tonkotsu based soy sauce and miso. I got the miso ramen. It was a thick miso, and the noodles were medium-thick noodles. It was a rich soup that matched the noodles. Kaedama is also available. I got 1 ball. It's a satisfying ramen. thank you very much.

When I returned to my hometown for Obon, I visited here to taste some memorable flavors. My favorite is Sakon, which is made with fine, rich pork bones. The service time was relatively quick, and when I went there for the first time in a while, the cash register was self-service.
