Nagano, Japan｜Kurumata Ramen Kawanakajima

30 years ago, Kurumaya Ramen was everywhere and I ate there every week, but the number of stores has decreased and it has become a unicycle shop, and as of 2023, the Kawanakajima store is the only one in Nagano City. "Kurumaya's Miso Ramen" is still alive and well, and I think the miso butter here is very delicious. Also, I personally recommend the rich Chinese food. You can enjoy the once-popular ``back oil-based soy sauce'' with thin noodles. The rice is still free, but instead of having to pick it up yourself, you now have to ask for it when ordering (as a countermeasure against the coronavirus).

I always go for spicy miso ramen. I've been going here for about 30 years. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy free rice.
