I had the best ramen I've ever had at this place! The noodles were chewy and the soup was flavourful. The staff were friendly too. Just a heads up, the drink options are water or beer, no soft drinks but there is a vending machine outside. A proper Japanese dining experience.

2022.05.22 The Akamisoya Ramen was delicious, but the gyoza I had ordered did not arrive even after I finished eating the ramen, so I canceled. Unfortunately, there was not even a word of apology from the staff. 2023.09.09 Second visit. Unlike last time, the service was attentive and we had a delicious lunch. The taste was good so I was satisfied.

I came to Shirakawa from Wakamatsu on business. The two of us visited the store for the first time after seeing a large Miso Ramen sign in the Shirakawa Ramen battleground. We ordered Akamisoya Ramen and Vegetable Spicy Miso Ramen Medium Spicy on separate plates and Akamisoya Special Gyoza. The red miso was very delicious with the thick soup entwined with the medium-thick noodles, and the spicy minced meat of the ingredients was even more delicious, and the green onions, menma, and eggs cut in the style of gray-haired green onions were also delicious. Renge with holes was useful because there was no leftover ground meat. The vegetable spicy miso brings out the sweetness of the vegetables, making it a mild soup. The special gyoza was delicious with garlic.
